    Mark Proctor

    Clinical Director

    BVSc MRCVS

    Mark grew up in North Lincolnshire and completed his veterinary degree at Liverpool Vet School. He is currently a director of the Animal Health Distributors Association, and loves watching farming TV programmes, as it reminds him of the thrill of delivering calves after a tricky malpositioning or caesarean section. He and his wife own four horses, three dogs and two cats, and he loves golf, Liverpool FC, watching his son play football and gardening.

    Ben Pedley

    Clinical Director

    BVSc MRCVS

    Hailing from West Yorkshire, Ben joined our practice in 1993 straight after graduating from Liverpool University. He has since worked in New Zealand and spent time in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. He is married with three daughters, and enjoys going running with his German shepherd, Flash, watching cricket and travelling.

    Matt Haslam

    Clinical Director

    BVSc MBA MRCVS

    Born and bred in Cheshire, Matt graduated in 2008 and has since carried out farm work in Germany, France and Israel. He joined us in 2020, and is responsible for managing the practice, as well as sitting on the VetPartners executive board. He also helps to train students and farmers, and loves hiking, travelling and relaxing with a nice pint.

    Phil Jones

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVSc CertAVP MRCVS

    Phil graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011, and grew up just a stone’s throw from our practice, as his dad worked for us. He worked in Wiltshire and New Zealand before joining us in 2015, and his interests include cattle health, production and disease management. He lives with his wife and their two sons, and loves swimming, cycling and rugby.

    Isobel Johnston

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVetMed CertAVP MRCVS

    Isobel qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2007, and has her own small sheep flock at home. She holds a certificate in advanced veterinary practice, and has a passion for cattle fertility work, youngstock management and animal welfare and production. Much of her free time is spent taking care of her young family, and she loves horses and rural sports.

    Sam Bunn

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVetMed MRCVS

    Sam grew up on a dairy farm in Cornwall, and moved to Cheshire after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2020. He enjoys the dairy aspect of farm work, and has a particular interest in mastitis control and using data to help improve herd health. Outside of work, he loves walking his pointer with his fiancé, and playing cricket.

    Meg Whitwam

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVM BVS MRCVS

    Yorkshire lass Meg moved to Cheshire after graduating in 2021, and carries out a mixture of dairy, beef, sheep, and goat work. She has a passion for smallholder services, ram fertility testing and disbudding, and is a regular festival goer who never misses a Glastonbury ticket sale. She also enjoys open water swimming and going camping with her dog, Elton John.

    Cassie Howell

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Cassie has been with us since 2021, and worked at a mixed practice down south before relocating and switching her focus to dairy cattle. She has a particular interest in youngstock management and lameness, and loves reading, walking, spending time with friends and family and looking after her dogs.

    Molly Garbutt

    After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2020, Molly spent time working with all creatures great and small in Snowdonia. She joined our team in 2022, and her clinical interests include infectious disease control and sheep flock health and production. When she’s not working or captaining her rowing squad, she loves to cook and go hillwalking.

    Imogen Allen

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BSc (Hons) BVSc MRCVS

    Imogen joined the practice in 2022, shortly after graduating from Bristol University. She developed her love of Holstein Friesian cattle relief milking, and working locally on a Cheshire dairy farm. Her main interests include dairy fertility and nutrition, though she is also keen on farmed/ park deer management. In her spare time, she enjoys SCUBA diving and wild camping.
